Mekong Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge (MWEC) is pleased to announce the 10 winners of the competition who will receive:

  • Up to US$10,000 Grant per Selected Entrepreneur for improving and expanding their businesses.
  • One-on-One Support and Professional Coaching: addressing individual challenges and concerns.
  • Seminars and Workshops: exposure to leading industry experts and networking opportunities.
  • Peer Learning: training focusing on such topics as marketing, resource management and budgeting.

Mekong Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge Lao

MWEC Lao will provide qualified women the necessary tools to improve and grow their business, including: financing, one-on one-support, peer-based learning, training workshops and seminars. The program is looking for highly motivated women who own or lead a small to medium sized enterprise and who are eager to expand their business, to participate in this exciting opportunity. EMC is working with support of the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Promotion and Development Office (SMEPDO) to implement the Mekong Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge in Lao PDR (MWEC Lao), encouraging women’s entrepreneurship.
